AA1, the Hungarian Society of Animation Artists was established at the end of January 2023 with 29 artists and five board members to facilitate sharing their values and knowledge step by step as a live community. Since then, they organized two events already: the presentation of the Airplan animation studio and a presentation given by the film crew of Four Souls of Coyote. By attending KAFF, they would like to make the association accessible to the animation artists present at the festival, offering them an opportunity to join it, so they will have a broader platform for discussing matters of the industry.
AA1 invites everyone who is interested to the Katona József Library on 24 June, where they will open the discussion to the audience after talking about their plans. They want to learn what makes this profession important to others, what challenges they might find in it, and what is their vision for the future of animation in five years’ time.
