Erika Sütő
Erika Sütő is a porcelain and jewellery designer. She graduated from Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in 2008 as a ceramics and glass design artist, and in 2009 as a design manager. Additionally, in 2019, she trained to become a silversmith and jewellery designer at the Secondary School of Visual Arts in Budapest. After graduating from university, she managed the contemporary collection of the International Ceramics Studio in Kecskemét, and later ran its exhibition space in Budapest, called Museion No. 1. Currently, she is again working at the International Ceramics Studio as a studio leader. In 2014, she founded her own company with her husband, where they provide design and manufacturing services as well as create their own designs and products. Sütő has been credited with several jewellery collections and brands, and she has also designed multiple porcelain jewellery collections and dinnerware commissioned by the Hollóháza Porcelain Manufactory. Her work earned her the Hungarian Product Grand Prize in 2017, and in 2019 she won the Hungarian Design Award in the product category. From 2020 to 2023, she is a scholarship recipient of the Hungarian Academy of Arts.
