Submission (and registration) of films is free of charge. Deadline for entries is 20 March 2023.
Detailed entry conditions and the online entry form can be found on the festival website www.kaff.hu.
Pre-selection of the 16th Kecskemét Animation Film Festival programme is expected to take place in April 2023.
The first animation meeting in Kecskemét was organised in 1985. In 1993, the meeting evolved into a festival; not only limited to the latest Hungarian films, but also including foreign films in general as well. From 1996 onwards, the latest European animated feature films are featured in a special competition programme.
KAFF aims to draw the widest possible inspiration from the domestic and international animated film production of the last two years. In addition to the competition programmes, the programme will include thematic panorama screenings, retrospective screenings, film consultations and master classes, workshops and exhibitions. During the 16th Kecskemét Animation Film Festival, all screenings are free of charge.
